    FAQ — Discontinuation of Bybit.nl services and migration to Bybit EU

    Bybit.nl services will officially shut down on 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC.

     

    The migration of all users from Bybit.nl to Bybit EU will take place between 29 Sep 2025, 7:00 AM UTC and 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC.

     

    During this period, the migration tools on Bybit EU (asset and card transfer functions) will be temporarily unavailable. They will resume after 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC. Please refer to the FAQ below for details.

     

     

     

    Why can’t I withdraw from my NL account?

    Withdrawals on Bybit.nl were disabled on 29 Sep 2025. All users are being migrated to Bybit EU. Starting 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC, you can log in to Bybit EU, complete identity verification, and initiate your asset transfer.

     

     

     

    Why can’t I see the migration feature on my NL account anymore?

    The self-migration feature has now closed. If you haven’t initiated self-migration, the system will automatically create a Bybit EU account for you and link it with your NL account. You can log in at www.bybit.eu after 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC to continue with verification and asset transfer.

     

     

     

    When will Bybit.nl shut down?

    Bybit.nl will permanently close on 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC. Please download your NL account’s transaction history before this date if needed.

     

     

     

    I haven’t self-migrated. What will happen to my NL account?

    Between 29 Sep 7:00 AM UTC and 30 Sep 8:00 AM UTC, all users will be migrated to Bybit EU. A Bybit EU account will be automatically created and linked to your NL account.

     

    After 30 Sep 8:00 AM UTC, log in to Bybit EU, complete identity verification (with the same identity as your NL account), and finish the asset transfer.

     

    If you already have a Bybit EU account, it will be linked automatically. Simply complete identity verification (with the same identity on the NL account) and then initiate the asset transfer.

     

     

     

    I haven’t self-migrated, and I already have a Bybit EU account. What will happen to my NL account?

    The system will link both NL and EU accounts that registered using same email address automatically for you. Complete the identity verification on your Bybit EU account, and you can initiate the asset transfer using the migration tools on Bybit EU after 30 Sep 8AM UTC.

     

     

     

    I registered an EU account using a different email address and did not link it with my NL account. What will happen?

    Unfortunately, if you are using a different email address to register for Bybit EU, the system cannot link the account automatically for you. Please reach out to our customer support through live chat or submit a ticket to our customer support here to assist further. 

     

     

     

    I linked my NL and EU accounts, but didn’t finish the process. What happens now?

    You can continue the asset or card transfer from your Bybit EU account after 30 Sep 2025, 8:00 AM UTC. Ensure your Bybit EU account is verified using the same identity as your NL account.

     

     

     

    Will my assets be transferred automatically?

    Assets will not move automatically. Once your Bybit EU account is created and linked with the NL account, complete identity verification and use the migration tools on Bybit EU to transfer your assets.

     

     

     

    What happens to my assets on my NL Account?

    Once you initiate the asset transfer using the migration tools, 

    • Supported crypto assets → Transferred to your EU account seamlessly

    • Unsupported crypto assets → Converted to USDC (based on closing price on 29 Sep 2025).

    • EUR → Converted to EURC

     

     

     

    How do I initiate the asset transfer?

    Step 1: Login to Bybit.eu → Go to Account Overview → Click Continue.

     

     

     

     

    Step 2: Complete the identity verification on Bybit.eu with the same identity as your NL account. 

    • Approval usually takes 15 minutes or up to 3 days if advanced verification is involved.

    • If you’ve already completed verification, skip this step.

     

     

    Step 3: Start the Asset Transfer.

    • You may be asked to provide the Source of Funds or Source of Wealth.

    • Supported coins will transfer automatically.

    • Unsupported coins will be converted to USDC (no fees) at the closing price on 29 Sep 2025.

    • EUR will be auto-converted to EURC.

    • You can review all Main and Subaccount balances before confirming.

     

     

    You can convert up to 20 tokens per batch. If you have more, simply click the convert button again after the previous conversion is completed.

     

     

     

     

    Step 5 : If you have a Bybit NL card, you can migrate your card and points to Bybit EU.

    • Card transfer can only be initiated once.

      • If you already have an EU card or a pending application, you must choose one card to keep.

      • If you prefer to keep your NL card, please cancel the EU application or terminate the EU card before clicking the migration button.

    • Points will transfer using the current USD/EUR rate and rounded up to the nearest integer.

     

     

     

    I received an email saying my account has migrated to Bybit EU on 30 Sep, 2025. How do I log in?

    For system created account, go to www.bybit.eu and log in with the same email and password you used on Bybit NL.

     

    • If you signed up with Google or Apple ID, use the same method to log in.

    • If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, you need to use your Hide My Email address and the temporary password we created for you to login. The system will then prompt you to reset your password. 

      • To find your Hide My Email addresses, open the Settings app on your iPhone or System Settings on your Mac, tap your name, go to Sign in with Apple, and then select Bybit App.

     

     

     

    How can I log in to my Bybit EU account using the App?

    Bybit EU uses a separate app from Bybit Global. Please download the Bybit EU App from the App Store or Google Play Store, then log in with your Bybit EU account details.

     

     

     

    Why can’t I migrate my NL card?

    You will not be able to migrate your Bybit Card if:

    • You have active cards on Bybit EU

    • You have an ongoing card application in Bybit EU

    • You haven’t completed identity verification for your EU card (Proof of Address required).

    • Your Bybit.nl card is blocked due to risk control or compliance reasons. 

    • You have a pending authorization or refund.

     

     

     

    I have an EU card or an ongoing EU card application, but want to keep my NL card. What should I do?

    You must choose one card to keep:

    • Option 1: Keep EU card → Your NL card cannot be migrated. You can still transfer points if any.

    • Option 2: Keep NL card → Cancel your EU card application or terminate your EU card before initiating migration.

     

     

     

    What if my NL card has pending authorizations or refunds?

    If you have a pending authorization or refund on your Bybit NL card, please wait until the transaction is fully processed (usually 3–5 days) before starting the migration. Do not click Migrate Card/Points until then. Once the transaction is completed, you can return to the card transfer page and proceed with your card migration to Bybit EU.

     

     

     

    Will my cashback tiers on my Bybit NL card be migrated?

    Yes. Since your monthly spending records will be migrated, the cashback tiers at the time you initiate the card transfer can also be migrated. However, for cashback tiers tied to VIP levels, if your Bybit EU account does not have VIP status, you will not be eligible for those tiers.

     

     

     

    Will my VIP status on NL account be transferred to Bybit EU?

    No. VIP status will not transfer. But VIPs on Bybit NL have received a special VIP Trial Card on Bybit EU. Please check your email for details and redeem the code by 30 Sep 2025. For more details, you can reach out to your Relationship Manager.

     

     

     

    What about my referral or affiliate relationship?

    Referral program: Referral relationships and referral code will not be migrated.

    Affiliate Code: Affiliate relationships will be migrated, unless you entered a different code when registering your EU account.

     

     

     

     

    Will my UID and trade history be migrated?

    Your UID on Bybit EU will change. Trade and asset history on NL accounts will not be migrated. Please download it before Sep 29, 2025.

     

     

     

    Can my Subaccount created on Bybit NL be migrated to Bybit EU?

    No, your subaccount will not be migrated to Bybit EU. You can create new Subaccounts on Bybit EU.

     

     

     

    Will my rewards on the NL account be migrated over to Bybit EU?

    No. Any rewards (such as APR booster, coupon, or more) on your NL account will not be migrated to Bybit EU. 

     

     

     

    I verified my NL account with Business verification. What would happen to my account?

    Business Verification is not currently available on Bybit EU, but we’re working on making it available in the near future. Only Identity Verification is supported on Bybit EU. 

     

    Your account will not be migrated as Bybit EU currently does not support Business Verification. If you need to retrieve your assets, create a Bybit EU account first and write to compliance@bybit.eu for further assistance.
