How It Works
By subscribing to a Recurring Buy plan, an automatic buy order will be processed according to your predetermined parameters. Below are examples of each payment method.
Example
a) Fiat Balance
Supposing Trader A has set the Recurring Buy plan with the following parameters:
Fiat spent: 1,000 EUR
Crypto received: BTC
Frequency: Bi-Weekly, Monday
Trader A has set a Recurring Buy plan to purchase BTC on the Monday of every two (2) weeks with 1,000 EUR. This means that every two weeks on Monday, Bybit EU will automatically use 1,000 EUR from the trader's Fiat Balance to purchase BTC at the current market price.
The amount of BTC that Trader A receives for each bi-weekly purchase will depend on the prevailing market price of BTC at that time. If the price of BTC is high, they will receive fewer BTC units, and if the price is low, they will receive more units. However, since the purchases occur over a longer time period, the goal is to achieve a lower average cost per unit by DCA strategy.
By using Bybit EU's Recurring Buy feature, Trader A can effortlessly accumulate BTC over time without having to worry about timing the market or constantly monitoring price movements.
b) Card Payment
Supposing Trader B has set the Recurring Buy plan with the following parameters:
Fiat Spend: 2,000 PLN
Crypto Received: ETH
Frequency: Monthly, 20th
Trader B has set a Recurring Buy plan to purchase ETH on the 20th of every month with 2,000 PLN. This means that every 20th of the month, 2,000 PLN will be automatically deducted from the trader's linked bank card to purchase ETH at the current market price.
The amount of ETH that Trader B receives for each monthly purchase will depend on the prevailing market price of ETH at that time. If the price of ETH is high, they will receive fewer ETH units, and if the price is low, they will receive more units. However, since the purchases occur over a longer time period, the goal is to achieve a lower average cost per unit by DCA strategy.
By using Bybit EU's Recurring Buy feature, Trader B can effortlessly accumulate ETH over time without having to worry about timing the market or constantly monitoring price movements.
Note:
— There will be no charges for creating a Recurring Buy plan. Once the plan is activated, our system will automatically process the transactions based on your preset parameters.
