How to deposit or withdraw fiat money on Bybit EU

Bybit EU has become one of the first major cryptocurrency platforms in 2025 to secure licensing under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. European traders now benefit from enhanced transparency and stronger fraud protection.

Ready to start safer crypto activities? Creating your Bybit EU account puts you on a fully compliant, regulated platform designed specifically for European users.

Key Takeaways:

• Bybit EU operates under MiCA regulation, requiring mandatory KYC verification before you can deposit or withdraw EUR and ensuring compliance with EU anti-money laundering standards.

• SEPA bank transfers are the primary method for EUR deposits and withdrawals, with funds typically processed within 1–3 business days to your verified bank account.

• Both mobile app and web platforms offer identical fiat deposit/withdrawal functionality, allowing you to manage EUR transactions via Assets → Deposit/Withdrawal → Fiat navigation paths.

Step 1: Account setup and verification

A. Email authentication

Begin by registering your Bybit EU account with a valid email address. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your identity and activate your account.

B. Google two-factor authentication (2FA)

Enable Google Authenticator for an additional security layer. This ensures your account remains protected even if your password is compromised.

C. Individual KYC Verification

MiCA regulations mandate Identity Verification in order to meet EU anti–money laundering requirements. Completing KYC unlocks essential features, including EUR deposits and withdrawals, SEPA bank transfers and higher transaction limits for your account.

To get verified, visit the Bybit EU KYC guide and submit your government-issued ID along with proof of address. This one-time process ensures full access to all fiat trading features.
