As part of this commitment, all EEA users must complete Standard Verification to access Bybit Europe’s products and services. Advanced Verification is optional but allows for higher fiat deposit limits. The requirements for standard and advanced verifications are as follows:

Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing Individual Identity Verification on Bybit Europe. Please note that completing Identity Verification can only be done via the Bybit Europe website.

 

 

Step 1: Hover to the avatar icon on the right side of the navigation bar. If you have just created your account, you can click on Complete Identity Verification Now. Otherwise, click on Account to enter the Account page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on Verify Now in the Identity Verification column under Account Info to enter the Identity Verification page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: You will see three sections for Identity Verification: Standard and Advanced, for Individual users, as well as Pro, for Business Users. Some verification items are interdependent. You must complete the verification items with an available Verify button before you proceed to the next one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Standard Verification (compulsory)

Proof of Identity

The Proof of Identity is composed of two mandatory steps. In order to verify your Proof of Identity, you will need to complete both verification steps.

 

 

 

Bank Verification

During the Bank Verification process, you will need to verify your identity before you can submit a fiat deposit to effectively complete the Bank Verification.

 

To submit your ID verification, click on Bank Verification, select your country of residence as well as the type of identity document you will use for verification and click on Continue to proceed with the verification.

 

 

Notes: 

• Before you start, prepare your identity document and make sure it is valid. Take a photo of the front and back side of your document.

• To pass verification, your identity document needs to comply with the requirements indicated in the next window. To ensure a smooth process, please check that the requirements are all met before clicking on Continue.

• Please ensure that your computer has granted access to your camera as you will need to complete your facial recognition scan through your laptop’s camera.

 

 

Once you have completed the ID verification, you can continue with the Fiat Deposit. In order for the verification to be successful, please deposit funds from a bank account registered under your name and that it matches your ID verification.

 

 

 

 

Video Verification

You will need to complete the Bank Verification before you can start the video verification.

 

 

 

 

Identity Assessment

This step will begin immediately after your proof of identity has been successfully verified. You will be able to view the Identity Assessment status on the page. Typically, Identity Assessment is verified concurrently with the proof of identity verification and should be processed within 24 hours.

 

However, under specific circumstances, we may reach out to you via your registered email to request additional information. Please ensure to monitor your email inbox accordingly in such instances.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Standard Questionnaire

The Standard questionnaire is composed of 4 pages aiming to understand the purpose and nature of our business relationship to ensure we offer the most suitable products, services, or transactions. The last step will require you to indicate your residential address. Please provide honest and accurate responses based on your actual situation.

 

 

 

Congratulations! Your Standard Identity Verification has been completed. You are now eligible to access the supported products and services. To be entitled for higher fiat deposit limits, you can proceed to complete the advanced verification.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Advanced Verification (optional)

Advanced Questionnaire

Complete a short questionnaire to know more about your personal situation. Once your answers have been reviewed, your account status will be updated to Advanced Identity Verification and your withdrawal limits will be increased accordingly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pro Verification

Proof of Funds/Wealth

To get the Pro Verification status, provide the sources of your funds or certificates of wealth for our team to review and unlock the Pro user status’ products and benefits in your account. The review process should be completed within 72 hours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Review Your Identity Verification

To review the information you submitted during the Identity Verification process, click on the eye icon. Please be aware that you will need to enter your Google Authenticator code to access this information.
