From a technical perspective, AO has rebounded from the 2.50 low, forming a strong support-resistance structure between 2.65 and 2.80 in the short term. Currently, bullish momentum is increasing. If AO can stably break above 2.80, it could open further upward movement. However, caution is needed as the staking test is still in its early phases, and some bullish expectations may have already been priced in. If 2.65 support fails, 2.50 will become the key defense level. After a retracement from the mid-March highs, AO hit strong support around 2.50 at the end of March, then started a wave-like rebound. Since mid-April, the price has gradually risen from the 2.50 area, closing at 2.716 on April 15 and further breaking the 2.70 resistance to close at 2.80 on April 16. With trading volume maintaining around 60,000 to 90,000 AO, clear buying interest from bulls has boosted the price. Short-term, the market structure has shifted from downtrending within the range to forming a bottom and probing upward resistance, indicating building upward momentum in the short run.

Arweave has launched a network usability staking test plan requiring node operators to stake AO in order to participate in providing data services and, based on response speed and stability, share a monthly reward pool of 1,000 AO. This initiative is expected to drive up staking demand, optimize the usability and reliability of the decentralized storage network, and establish a long-term economic incentive mechanism. Leveraging the HyperBEAM architecture to reduce verification costs, AO could lay a foundation for future services such as computation and data indexing, further enhancing its value position in the decentralized infrastructure space.

Although the staking test is favorable for AO's mid- to long-term value, it remains in the Alpha phase with relatively limited participation, and short-term market excitement may already be partly priced in. From a technical perspective, if the price faces pressure and pulls back from the 2.80 level, it is crucial to watch the reliability of the 2.70-2.65 support zone. Should a retest break below 2.65, the 2.50 level will again become a key defense. Additionally, node feedback during the testing phase and the timing of reward distribution may trigger short-term sentiment swings, and traders should be wary of volatility driven by buying high and selling low that could result in short-term drawdowns.
