What is the Bybit EU Referral Program?
The Bybit EU Referral Program is an initiative that allows users to invite friends to join Bybit EU. By sharing your referral link or code and completing the required conditions, both you and your referee can receive rewards depending on your referee's registration time.
How do I participate in the Bybit EU Referral Program?
To participate in the Bybit EU Referral Program, simply share your referral link or referral code with your friends. To ensure the referral relationship is successfully established, your friend must register for a Bybit EU account through your referral link or enter your referral code during sign-up.
Notes:
— Eligible users of this program are users onboarded to Bybit EU and residing in the EEA, except Malta.
— Starting 19 March 2026, 10:00 AM UTC, users who register via a referral code or link will no longer receive the Welcome Gift from the Rewards Hub concurrently. Only the referral task within the Referral Program will be available.
What is a qualified referee?
To be a Qualified Referee, your invitee must:
- Sign up via the referrer's link or code
- Complete Identity Verification
- Deposit ≥ $100 within 15 days of sign-up
- Achieve ≥ $100 cumulative Spot trading volume within 15 days of sign-up
What are the Referral Program Rewards?
For a referee registered before September 16, 2026, 10AM UTC:
- Referee Deposit Task: When a referee tops up at least 100 EUR within 7 days of sign-up, both the referrer and referee receive 25 EUR in BTC.
For a referee registered on or after September 16, 2026, 10:00 AM UTC:
- Referee Deposit & Trade Task: When a referee tops up at least $100 and trades $100 on Spot within 15 days of sign-up, both the referrer and referee receive 5 USDC.
- Referee Trade Task: When a referee trades at least $50,000 on Spot within 30 days of sign-up, both the referrer and referee receive 25 USDC.
Notes:
— Any referees who registered before September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC and were assigned the old task will retain the old task until its validity period ends. Their task will not be retroactively replaced with the new task.
— Eligible top-up methods include One-Click Buy, Crypto Deposit, and Fiat Deposit. Deposits made via Internal Transfer or from another Bybit EU account will not be counted toward the calculation.
— Users' top-ups will be calculated as follows: Total top-ups in eligible assets (including those purchased) − Total withdrawals during the task period
Is there a limit to the rewards I can earn from the Bybit EU Referral Program?
There will be a limit for all referees registered before September 16, 2026, 10AM UTC. Effective 19 March 2026, 10:00 AM UTC, an inviter can receive referral rewards for a maximum of 20 Qualified Referees within a 30-day period. This cap resets every 30 days starting from 19 March 2026, 10:00 AM UTC. For example, if an inviter has 25 Qualified Referees within a 30-day period, rewards will only be granted for 20 referees: 20 × 25 EUR in BTC = 500 EUR in BTC.
However, an inviter will not have a limit to the referral rewards he can receive for any referees registered on or after 16 September 2026, 10:00 AM UTC.
My referee forgot to use my referral code/link. Can I still receive the rewards?
No, your invitee must sign up using your referral link or referral code in order to be recognized as your referee. If an account was registered without your referral link or code, the referral relationship cannot be added retroactively, and the corresponding referral rewards will not apply.
We recommend reminding your friends to double-check and enter your referral code correctly during registration, as requests to modify or add a referral code after sign-up will not be accepted.
Why didn't I receive my reward(s) despite my referee completing the task(s)?
To ensure fairness, once the referee completes the required task(s), the rewards will undergo a 3-day risk review period. After the review is completed and no abnormal activity is detected, the rewards will be available to claim in the Rewards Hub for both users.
Please note that referral rewards must be claimed within 30 days of issuance. Unclaimed rewards will expire after the validity period and cannot be reinstated.
Can I earn any referral commissions for inviting users?
The commission component was discontinued on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC, and resumed on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC. During this interim period, no commissions will be generated or paid out. Please note that commissions will not be retroactively issued for this period.
Effective September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC, referrers will start earning commissions on trades made by their qualified referees for 365 days from the qualified referee's sign-up date.
Note: "Quarter" refers to a calendar quarter (e.g., Q1 = Jan–Mar, Q2 = Apr–Jun, Q3 = Jul–Sep, Q4 = Oct–Dec). For example, if you invite 9 Qualified Referees between January and March and 1 in April, your Q1 count will be 9, the April referral falling under your Q2 count.
How is commission calculated?
Commissions are calculated based on the net trading fees of your qualified referees. All commissions are settled in USDC and distributed daily at 4:00 AM UTC.
Formula
Net trading fee = Trading fee minus bonuses, coupons, credits, and other fee discounts.
Note: Net trading fees are calculated in accordance with Bybit EU’s standard fee structure. Terms and conditions apply.
Does all Spot trading volume count toward the trading task?
No, Spot trading pairs with zero fees are excluded. Only successfully executed trades that incur fees are counted.
Where can I track my referee's progress and rewards?
You can monitor your referral performance & referee's registration date under your Referral History.
My friend completed the task, why can't we claim the rewards?
If your friend engages in any inappropriate, dishonest, or abusive activities, you will not be able to claim rewards. Please ensure your friend complies with our Rewards Terms and Conditions at all times.
Can I refer friends on a different Bybit site?
No, referral relationships are site-specific, and cross-site referrals are not supported. Only friends who register on the same site as the referrer will be successfully attributed and shown in the referral list.
If a user on a different site attempts to enter a referral code, an Invalid Code error message will be displayed.
Can I switch between the Old Referral Program and the New Referral Program?
Unfortunately, switching between the Old Referral Program and the New Referral Program is not supported. The applicable program is automatically determined by your referee's registration date and time.
What is the difference between the Bybit EU Referral Program and the Affiliate Program?
The Bybit EU Referral Program allows existing Bybit EU users to invite friends and earn rewards when their referrals complete eligible actions. Both the inviter and the invited friend may receive rewards, such as airdrops. For the most up-to-date details regarding the Referral Program, please refer to the official Referral page here.

If I switch to the Affiliate Program, will I still receive rewards from the Referral Program?
No, once you switch to the Affiliate Program, you will no longer be eligible for Referral Program rewards. This includes situations where you had previously invited referees. If they complete task requirements after you switch, you will not receive any referral rewards from their activity. That said, your referees can still claim their own rewards as long as they meet the requirements.
Please be aware that any tasks exclusive to the standard Referral Program will be invalidated upon switching, and progress on those tasks will no longer be tracked. We recommend reviewing this carefully before proceeding with the switch.
