It is advised to focus on arbitrage and hedging operations in the short term, and to avoid heavy medium- or long-term allocations unless competitiveness improves.

Recently, the stablecoin market has entered an internal competition phase. The USDC/USDT premium turning positive reflects capital flowing out of selling pressure in some major trading pairs and moving into the USDC system. During this liquidity redistribution, switching between similar pegged assets will have minor spillover effects on USDP's short-term trading depth and volume, but it is insufficient to break its overall anchored structure.

Examining the trading side, USDP quotes remain closely pegged to the $1.00 mark, with very slight intraday deviations and low volatility within a stable range. Robust market depth and abundant order book volumes provide solid short-term anchoring support. Even amid temporary capital shifts, USDP maintains high stability due to hedging and arbitrage demand.

From a medium- to long-term perspective, the overall market trend is tilting liquidity towards other stablecoins, and potential trend-driven selling pressure may gradually accumulate in USDP. If USDP cannot outperform competitors in yield and capital efficiency, it may lose market share during the reshaping of the stablecoin landscape and face greater capital outflow pressure.
