Before macro risk appetite turns, Meta Platforms' announcement of increased capital expenditure guidance and hints of regulatory risks led to a sharp decline in its stock price, putting short-term pressure on Meta Contracts. Although the subsequent quarterly earnings beat expectations, the market remains cautious about high-growth, high-investment sectors. On Thursday, the S&P 500 initially closed up 1.1%, with the telecommunications sector rising 4%, and the industrial, utilities, and healthcare sectors each gaining over 2%, while the technology sector fell 0.6%.  
The Nasdaq 100 initially closed up 1%. Among its components, Qualcomm rose 15%, Alphabet A increased 10%, Zscaler fell 3%, Corning dropped 3.7% (the fourth largest decline), Microsoft fell 3.9%, Nvidia declined 4.4%, and Meta dropped 8.4%.
